Proud to be a part of Tourism Best Management Practices (TBMP)

Alaska Daily Life

We are proud to be a part of Juneau’s Tourism Best Management Practices (TBMP) organization which is highlighted in this month’s Alaska Journal of Commerce. The TBMP program’s mission is to create “a cooperative effort of Juneau tour operators, cruise lines, transportation providers and the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ). Begun in 1997, Tourism Best Management Practices are intended to minimize the impacts of tourism in a manner which addresses both resident and industry concerns.”

We also love this picture of a sailboat, cruise ship and Wings Airways floatplane sharing the Gastineau Channel on a beautiful summer day. Read the article: “Huge leap for Alaska cruise traffic expected in 2019.”
